Anyone have any training drills to work on Perfect Shielding?

Easy. Perfect Shield yourself!
Put EPS on your amiibo, put as many Perfect-Shield helpers on you as you need (i'm decent myself, so I don't need any)
Try Metal Heavy Curry smash, and just spam shield; on-off-on-off, etc. worked (kinda) for my Link. Especially useful with EPS spamming.
The simple thing: Amiibo learn from you, and when you Perfect-Shield, they'll learn.
Good luck out there training your amiibo!

The information above isn't that good.(No offense.)
I would go into 300%, slow, heavy smash, then block or dodge the attacks your amiibo throws out.
Giving your amiibo Easy Perfect Shield is a bad idea unless you pair it with Improved Dodge, as they'll rarely dodge with Easy Pefect Shield equipped.
Hope this helps!

Something I always do when training a new amiibo is to shield on and off if I get any room, and do the rest normally. Don't quote me on this, but I think that teaches them to be ready to shield at any given moment. If I recall correctly, that's what I did for Kirby.

Thanks for the input guys! After my first two tournaments, I saw a bunch of entrants perfect shielding very well without any shield equipment. Thus, I wanted to see if I can teach my guys to do that a little better.

Easiest and simplest method I used to use is a 1-to-3 minute match, with Timers ON, handicap set to 300, and a custom character with two or three Easy perfect shield bonuses. Basically grab a timer, wait for the amiibo to attack, then perfect shield and counterrattack.
Of course, I dropped this method a while back. My amiibo could still perfect shield even without this training. I guess as long you're using your shield in training, the amiibo will pick up perfect shielding.
