Hello once again people of Clouds forum. Today's review I am going to do is of a game I already reviewed but decided to copy it to here for storage. This game I am referring to is Kirby's Epic Yarn for the Nintendo Wii. When I first herd about it I was so excited to hear about that I begged my parents to get me that game every day. But I eventually got it and oh boy did it pay off. But there were some things about it that I noticed as I continued playing. So what were the things noticed? Well read this to find out.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Information: Kirbys Epic Yarn is the 2010 side scrolling platformer about the famous pink puffball's adventures through-out a world of fabric and yarn called- Patch Land. This game is known for its great graphics and excellent soundtrack but it is more known for being the first kirby game made for the Nintendo Wii. This game could is made for the Wii and can be fournd at your local video game retailler.
Graphics: 9/10:True to what the discription says, the game has the most amazing graphics in any kirby game, ever. It acually felt like the yarn was almost real. The characters designs were very cute and the graphics were different every level showing that they certainly spent there time on this game. the game clearly deserves the score.
Creativity: 8/10:The game showed a great example of creativity then any other Kirby game-ever. The idea about the world being primarally made out of yarn was a great and interesting theme that they came up with and the levels had new and exciteing themes that have not been done before. Although my only complaint is the fact that the bead system was basicly the system used for Sonic the Hedgehog and the M&L RPG Series crossed togather where you just collect beads until you run out of space and then when you get hit you lose the beads. I found this a bit unoriginal about the game.
Music: 10/10:The games music was quite possibly one of the best examples of nintendo music ever, all the tracks are beautifully composed and has a great atmosphere to each track. This total deserves the perfect rank.
Gameplay: 8/10:The game play for this game was quite nice in my opinion. The power-up's were quite interesting and has a very exclamatory tutorial. The only downside to this is there are no lives in the game and you can not die through out the whole game. With out the deaths then it takes away a huge part of a platformer since platformers are mostly made for deaths, but besides that the game showed a nice veritiy of secrets and big veritiy of collectables that you can uptain through out the whole game.
Replay Value: 7/10:The Replay value in my opinion is the most weak part of the whole game since there was not alot of things that show for it to be replaied. Sure it has a good tack and awesome graphics but most of the stuff that are needed to complete the game are just cute little bonuses and such but then again there might be some secret levels through out the game that you might have missed first time around but still...
Overall Score: 84 Excellent
