Restoring Amiibo Saves Empty Restoring Amiibo Saves

11/19/2016, 5:53 pm
Wasn't quite sure where to put this, but figured this will work.

I got back the saves from xAverage's tournament (thank you by the way) and I'm trying to restore those saves to the figures. But those saves won't show up for my figures under the restore option on Powersave. My power tag yes, figure no. Any idea what's going on?

Download the files from your Email, then go into downloads, and drag them from downloads to the Powersave folder.

Well if the powertag is working with it then make a new file (Of the same amiibo) Rename (Then Copy what the .bin files name) the file and paste it over to the file you got back, im not sure if an incorrect date does anything but this could possibly work

Also, for Character specific amiibos the .bin may need to be changed for example
old>new
Duck Hunt Duo (Smash Bros.) > Duck Hunt Duo
Dr. Mario > Dr Mario
Mr. Game and Watch > Mr Game and Watch
There may be some others i'm missing but we talked about this awhile back
here the link: www.cloudnineforums.com/t4510-powersaves-backup-problem

Hope this helped!

Silly me for not having checked if this had been talked about before. My bad.

But yes, that was a tremendous help. Thank you.
