Practice Match: Timmy(Lucas) vs Reyn(Shulk)

Things I'm happy with:

• Good use of buster at the beginning
  
• Overall good use of shield
  
• Decent use of grabs and smashes
  
• Overall did a good job at getting back on stage.
  
• Spins me right round
  

Things that need work:

• Mediocre use of up tilt and jab
  
• Mediocre use of counter(he tried but Timmy used the wrong move for counter to work, or just waited it out)
  
• Could tech more
  
• Weird backslash
  
• Down smash could use some work
  

Timmy:

Things I'm happy with:

• Good edgeguarding attempts
  
• Countered those counters

Things that need work:

• poor use of up smash
  
• Didn't use down smash at all
  
• A bit jumpy, a habit from the days of being a sparring partner

• poor attempts at downthrow combo, another habit from the days of being a sparring partner
  
  Final thoughts:
  I'm pretty happy with Reyn right now, but it appears that Timmy will need some extra training. I'm working on a new strategy for him though.
  

Hmm, Replace Lucas's Hyper Smash Attacks with Improved Escape, and Shulk's Trade-Off with Improved Escape, that should help them both.

Improved escape has improved Lucas, thanks for the tip.

Though I'm happy with how my Shulk is built (at least right now), I believe going from here is mostly gaining exp and improving tactics. But we'll see the results as training continues.

two changes both on Lucas:
Mirror shield is replaced with healing shield
Hyper smash attack is replaced with Quick smash

I'm very happy with how the two are doing (at least against each other anyway). I've gotta buy a powersaver soon and work on additional EXP so I'm ready to smash at those tournies soon!
