Classic Debate: Mario or Luigi

The general public will often pick Mario since he's the Big N's main man and there's hardly anyone who doesn't know him and his daring princess rescuing quests. But look closely, and you will see that a trait he's known for is made inferior by his own sheepish brother! He was known as jump man and Luigi surpasses him! Luigi has always been ignored by fans and even Nintendo until the past few years, and year of Luigi was just the break the man in green needed. :V
So, who's it going to be? Mr. Video Game himself or the Green Thunder? I choose Luigi, but tell me your reasons for picking who you do!

Luigi all the way, man. Besides, "Green thunder" sounds cool, "Jumpman" is laaaaame.

I picked Luigi too, because he's never in many good mario games. The only thing he has is Luigi's Mansion and Super Luigi U.

Seriously they need to do more with him.

I like them both equally, so I can't really choose a favorite.

I choose Luigi, since he seems to have more of a personality.  You never know much about Mario besides he's the good guy (and theoretically mental).  However, you know that Luigi looks up to his brother, he is very sheepish and hilarious, and he has quite epic character development in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team where he goes from sheepish to confident by the end.
