They're finally here, guys!!! Here is the first 5 episodes of season 9.
There were a few issues in scheduling btw, so instead of making In The Navy a 3-parter, I trimmed it to a single episode and put two week 2 episodes in its place.

The subway sandwich extending in episode 4 is brilliant.

I have reached the decision where I will no longer be producing the series, but instead I will be handing someone else the job.

Yup, you heard it from me. As you all know I’ve been greatly struggling with the motivation to produce episodes for over a year now. It’s not going well - at all. I find the whole thing a challenge and my feelings towards it are very, very mixed. 

I’ve edited the canon a bit, too. The “25 episode” season idea was dumb and was an attempt to cover-up the fact I’m too lazy to finish season 8, which should have ended at 100 episodes, and not 49. I’ve added the 5 “season 9” episodes into what I now called Season 8b, and I want someone to continue that.

There will be a LOT of information given to whoever takes over the role. You will have full control over the series, what’s canon, and what cartoonists can contribute, but none of that is important right now.
What is important is this…

Do you think that you could continue the series? Can you draw similar to the cartoonists? Will you stay motivated?

So, do you wanna take over? You can, and here’s how…

1. Remake this episode in a paint program. Use the thin lines, and stick to the same colours.
2. PM me your episode (on NSMBX).

Then there’s the waiting progress. Have it sent to me by next week.

I'm not necessarily saying just one leader is important, if I find 2 good comics I'd make you both leaders, whatever.

but this is a big job that requires effort, motivation, the ability to represent the series well and creative ideas.
