Terraria

See title.

I honestly like this game myself. So if you like classic 2d platformers and adventure games and sandbox games, you'll probably like this game.

I like the game without really liking Minecraft.

I remember Terraria being the game I was most excited for. Today it's my 2nd favorite game, right behind Super Metroid.

I don't think saying "If you like minecraft, you might like this" is a good assumption, seeing as Minecraft is a better game for creating things, while Terraria is a better game for battling and adventuring.  Two completely different things, and I personally like Minecraft more.  Terraria's cool, though, but I'm more of a creative person.

I can only be creative on Minecraft using mods while I leave the building planning to other people.

Alot of people say that terraria is less about building, but you can really make some cool stuff.

Anything you can build in Terraria, you can build in Minecraft.  Although, it may not be able to have the same use.

JK, but really I like playing Terraria for when I'm in more of a 2D side scrolling exploring/building mood. And Minecraft for when I just want to play Minecraft. xD

I never feel like perspective alone is ever enough to choose a different game.  Seriously, I know it has more stuff to use than Minecraft, but ultimately, since Minecraft has a whole third dimension to work with, as well as a mode where you don't have to worry about monsters, Terraria's building aspects can be bothersome at times.
