Here my observation:

1st screenshot: I don´t think that the mixture of all the mario styles looks good. They look clashy.


2nd screenshot: As adove. SPP koopas don´t fit with the others NPCS (Buzzy and Piranha Plant) I would recommend to use a singular style. Or even use recolors.
