To The Eternal!
3/12/2012, 11:03 pm
Hey everybody, so I thought I'd share with you my project idea that hopefully everyone will like. It's gonna be a big one though, so don't expect it to come out right away, but if I can get some extra helping hands in certain departments - particularly enemies and bosses - that would help out a lot.
Anyway, here's the info:
Name: To The Eternal
Characters: All available characters
- Description:
- Description: There is a legend, that's so monumental, that it has spread through out the entire universe. Only a select few have ever heard of the legend, even fewer have experienced it for themselves and have lived to tell the tale, but those who did, became legends of their own.
The legend is foretold about a Tower, that spans high up into the heavens. They say that those who reach the top of the tower will not only receive a tremendous reward, but their names will forever be engraved in history, to be eternally retold to those of future generations to prepare for the appearance of this legendary landmark.
The time has come and the Mushroom Kingdom has be chosen as the Tower's new temporary resting place. Can Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, and Link all climb this massive tower and claim the legendary reward that lies at the very top? Venture now, into the Eternal Tower!
- Information:
- Information: Based off of the Eternal Tower of Phantasy Star Zero and Super Mario Hell, a Super Mario World Hack, climb a massive tower full of various traps, puzzles, enemies, and bosses of 100 floors! It's the ultimate test of endurance to test your skills as a platformer to see if you have what it takes to reach the top! The stage offers no checkpoints, but a floor selection will be available (at 10 level intervals) for those who either can't get past certain areas or want to start at a higher level and reach the top faster (or you end up dying and want to continue at that point). Every ten floors you ascend the game will get progressively harder, but unlike SMH, the game will not have a steep difficultly curve and the first couple of dozen floors should be simple enough to pass through, but be prepared for the final 50 as they will test your very abilities as a gamer!
Last notes: I wanted to do this project as a way for me to get to know and learn the use of the SMBX editor considering that it's got a lot of really good functions to make various events take place, as well as create new enemies which I hope to accomplish. As I said though, some help in that department would be extremely helpful. Let me know what you guys think and leave comments and questions with ideas as well.
