There will be a new factor in this tournament and that is a point system. Basically, the amiibo with the most full set wins in the Rank of their weight class will move onto a new bracket. One point will be given per full set won by the amiibo. The top 2 amiibo of their Rank that gets the most points will get to move onto a new bracket!


Amiibo Bonuses and stats will be checked 2 days prior to the day of the tournament.
Results will be posted on the forums for consistency.

[Remember 1 AMIIBO from each WEIGHT Class. You cannot send multiple amiibo for one weight class. For example, you can't have 2 heavy weights and only 1 is allowed.]


The Tournament will begin on 1/27/2017 @ 12 PM (PST) and the Last day to submit your amiibo is @ 1/25/2017 @ 12 AM (PST)

Will entrants from the balloonweight class be grouped with others? According to that site only Jigglypuff and Mewtwo would be able to face off

It will be just like a normal tournament, so amiibo will be put in the bracket like normal, but the top 2 of each weight class will move onto a newly made bracket.

Doesn't seem like the brackets are up yet. You can usually tell by typing challonge.com/acronym_number although the underscore optional.

If a balloon weight amiibo is able to get the highest amount of points amongst its own ranks, it will join the other ranks that have them too.
