I'm having a problem with autoscroll

So here's the deal,
I'm making a level in which I want section 2 to autoscroll,
the player warps from section 1 to section 2, an NPC, or block triggers the event "autoscroll"
The event has the position, autoscroll speed, and section in which to autoscroll set,
However, when the NPC or block triggers the event, nothing happens. And the player is confined to the boundry, unable to proceed into the level.
What should I do?

That sometimes happens to me, i usually fix it by restarting my computer.

You can only make section 1 auto-scroll, that was something that Redigit was going to fix for 1.4.
