I have a problem with sounds and music

When I put the the game or the level editor. When It plays a sound, It appears a icon on the windows bar
It says "ffdshowaudio decoder"

That is very normal,also Happened to me. (When i used XP)
¿Maybe it's the source?

But my is win7 professional and my dad says "If you don't fix that, you can't play your game"
And i say "noooooo"

Go to DirectShow, and open ffdshow from there. After that, there should be a list of programs somewhere that it decodes sounds for. find SMBX, remove it from that list, and you should be perfectly fine from there.
