by CrimsonZEXAL 3/7/2017, 7:57 pmSo, I just got my hands on my Link (Archer) amiibo, in preparation for owning a Nintendo Switch and Breath of the Wild. And I decide to check if he was still supported in Smash 4.
Registered my Link (Archer) in the Wii U system settings, then booted up Smash. Link (Archer) is compatible.
Not quite sure yet if the Link (Rider) is compatible, but I'm positive the BotW version of Zelda is Smash compatible too.
Maybe next time, Nintendo will get on with updating their amiibo compatibility chart once a new set of amiibo are released.
Yes, they've had their hands tied with getting the Switch and BotW out to the public, but they could have had at least one person working on that.
